Tangle the African wild dog is an active member of a friendly savanna. She wants to be the best friend she can, and consistently drops all she' doing to help her friends ... even when she really doesn't want to. Tangle soon becomes incredibly frustrated with herself. How can she meet her friends' needs when she is neglecting her own?
Despite being intended for children ages 5-9, Tangle's story shows readers of all ages about helping yourself before you can help others. And after setting boundaries with the ones she loves, Tangle, for the first time, is able to say no.

When the island’s most treasured artifact, the Heartstone—a gem that maintains nature’s balance—vanishes, Finchie embarks on a quest to retrieve it. Her journey takes her all over Wildwood Isle, where she teams up with several new animals who each teach her lessons about friendship, trust and the natural world.
